This past weekend Merritt went to Seattle for Auntie Viviane's baby shower (due May 19th!) and so I was home alone with Milo. We got to spend some quality father and son time together. It was the best. Milo has always been fairly Mommy-centric especially the past few months. So it was good to have it just be us. He definitely missed his Mama though, saying, "Mama right back." But the weekend went very well. Merritt returned on Sunday morning and we went to Tilden Park in the afternoon to ride the steam train 3 times!

Merritt feeds Milo some pizza from the oven. Milo puts it in his mouth gingerly then says, "Little hot. Let it cool off."
*
Getting ready to go out for a walk Merritt tells Milo that it's a little cool outside why doesn't he get something warm to wear from his room. Milo disappears for a minute then comes back with his sweatshirt.
*
Milo is playing naked in his room. Stops suddenly. Runs to the bathroom where his potty is, sits in it and pees in the potty. (Potty was a gift from Halmuni: handmade of wood with magazine holder and toilet roll dowel; seat flips up and down.)
*
Milo and I are hanging out in our inner courtyard area. I tell Merritt that I'm going to need a ladder to get to the top of the roof. A minute later, Milo yells out the courtyard door into the hall, "Mama, I need a ladder."
*
Milo will chant the ABC song all the time throughout the day: A through Z complete with "now I know my ABC's won't you come and sing with me yay milo!"Comments:Add a comment:

Milo has been sick for weeks with the flu and/or cold. Merritt took him to the doctor today and it turns out he has pink eye in both eyes, an ear infection and diarrhea. Poor guy is not very happy these days.
