Milo is back to 100%, falling asleep with no problem at night, napping still so-so but can't complain.
Merritt's friends (C', Jess & Trish) came from Ohio, Wisconsin & DC for a mini-Duke reunion of sorts. I was PPOD (Primary Parent On Duty) on a few occasions so that Merritt could hang with her buds.
Today, Merritt was feeling pretty sick (some kind of stomach virus?) so I was PPOD again. Milo and I had a great day. He's learning words one after another. It's pretty amazing how much he's growing physically and cognitively each day.Comments:Add a comment:

Good news is a few weeks ago we started to let him cry it out at night and it worked. He was going to bed by himself with minimal crying in 4 days. Naps are still no more than an hour but he goes down quietly.
Bad news is he just caught the flu and has had a temperature the last few days. He seems to be getting better though.Comments:Add a comment:

We're still having issues with sleep. He's been taking just one nap a day and usually for just forty minutes, every once in a while he manages an hour and half. I think I remember once when he actually napped for two hours but I could've been dreaming. Apparently most babies nap for at least 3 hours...??????
And nighttime is getting worse as well. He's taking longer and longer to (cry himself to) sleep and there's not much we can do to soothe him.Comments:Add a comment:

Milo likes to eat with a spoon. It can get very messy.
He's really into the word "No". For example, he'll touch the fireplace grating (which he knows he's not supposed to do) and at the same time say, "No no no no no" shaking his head.
He likes to joke around. He's more huggy and affectionate these days. He's still struggling with naps.
He's giving kisses. "Mmm-ah!"Comments:Add a comment:
